Owlight(이하 “앱”)는 Lumen Lab(개인사업자, 이하 “개발자”)이 만든 macOS 메뉴 막대 유틸리티입니다. 이 방침은 앱이 사용자의 정보를 어떻게 다루는지 설명합니다.
1. 수집하는 개인정보
앱은 어떤 개인정보도 수집하지 않습니다. 이름, 이메일, 기기 식별자, 위치, 사용 기록 등을 모으지 않고, 회원 가입이나 계정도 없습니다.
2. 분석, 광고, 추적
앱에는 분석 도구, 광고, 추적 기능이 없습니다. 제3자 SDK를 넣지 않았고, 다른 회사의 앱이나 웹사이트에 걸쳐 사용자를 추적하지 않습니다.
3. 네트워크
앱은 네트워크에 접속하지 않습니다. 어떤 정보도 개발자나 제3자의 서버로 보내지 않습니다. (앱 안의 “개인정보 처리방침” 링크를 누르면 이 페이지가 사용자의 기본 웹 브라우저에서 열립니다. 이때의 접속은 브라우저가 처리합니다.)
4. 기기에 저장되는 정보
- 설정: 기능 설정(시간, 모양, 자동 켜기 조건, 장면, 단축키, 오늘의 몰입 세션 기록 등)은 macOS의 UserDefaults를 통해 사용자의 Mac 안, 앱 전용 샌드박스 공간에만 저장되며 Mac 밖으로 나가지 않습니다.
- 커튼 이미지: 사용자가 커튼 배경으로 고른 이미지는 Mac 밖으로 나가지 않습니다. 앱은 파일을 복사하거나 업로드하지 않고, 다음 실행 때 같은 파일을 다시 열 수 있도록 macOS의 보안 범위 북마크만 설정에 저장합니다.
5. 앱이 확인하는 시스템 정보
기능을 제공하기 위해 앱은 Mac 안에서만 다음 정보를 읽습니다. 이 정보는 저장하거나 외부로 보내지 않습니다.
- 배터리 잔량과 전원 어댑터 연결 여부(불침번의 배터리 지킴이, 충전 중 자동 켜기)
- 실행 중인 앱 목록과 맨 앞의 앱(자동 켜기 조건, 후광이 비출 윈도우 찾기). 윈도우의 위치와 크기만 확인하며, 윈도우 제목이나 화면 내용은 읽거나 녹화하지 않습니다.
6. 알림
몰입 세션이나 불침번 타이머가 끝나면 macOS 알림을 보낼 수 있습니다. 알림 권한은 시스템 설정에서 언제든 끌 수 있습니다.
7. 아동의 개인정보
앱은 누구의 개인정보도 수집하지 않으므로 아동의 개인정보도 수집하지 않습니다.
8. 방침의 변경
이 방침을 바꾸면 이 페이지에 새 내용과 시행일을 게시합니다. 개인정보를 수집하는 기능을 추가하게 되면 그 전에 이 방침과 App Store의 개인정보 라벨을 먼저 고칩니다.

Owlight (“the app”) is a macOS menu bar utility made by Lumen Lab (“we”, “the developer”). This policy explains how the app handles your information.
1. Personal data we collect
The app collects no personal data. It does not gather your name, email address, device identifiers, location or usage history, and there is no sign-up or account.
2. Analytics, advertising and tracking
The app contains no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It includes no third-party SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
3. Network
The app does not access the network. It sends no information to our servers or anyone else’s. (The “Privacy Policy” link inside the app opens this page in your default web browser, which handles that connection.)
4. Information stored on your Mac
- Settings: Your preferences (durations, appearance, automatic triggers, scenes, shortcuts and today’s Focus Session totals) are stored with macOS UserDefaults, only on your Mac, inside the app’s own sandbox container, and never leave it.
- Curtain image: An image you choose as the Curtain background stays on your Mac. The app never copies or uploads the file; it only keeps a macOS security-scoped bookmark in its settings so it can open the same file again next time.
5. System information the app reads
To provide its features, the app reads the following on your Mac only. None of it is stored or sent anywhere.
- Battery level and whether a power adapter is connected (Nightwatch battery guard, “while charging”).
- Which apps are running and which one is in front (automatic triggers, finding the window Halo highlights). Only window positions and sizes are used; window titles and screen contents are never read or recorded.
6. Notifications
The app can post macOS notifications when a Focus Session or a Nightwatch timer ends. You can turn them off at any time in System Settings.
7. Children’s privacy
Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version and its effective date will be posted on this page. Before any feature that collects personal data is added, this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated first.
